If you are a regular Shalom Magazine reader, then you know that every issue includes the "Ask Bubbe" Column (in this issue, it appears on page 23). There, you get to hear all about Bubbe’s stories, recipes, and even read her answers to viewer questions. What you may not know is that Bubbe started her career long before she started contributing to Shalom Magazine. It all began with a video show made for the internet, where Bubbe showcased her food for a worldwide audience. These videos can be found at www.feedmebubbe.com, where her recipes also appear. As she grew in popularity over the course of these past years, so did viewers’ demands to get her to write a cookbook. Bubbe often came to me to ask if we should write the book. Each time, I told her that it would happen when it was supposed to happen. After Bubbe and the show were featured in the Boston Globe in January, 2010, we received a phone call from an agent who wanted to turn our video show into a book.
